MAP Active become Indonesian partner

Arsenal Football Club has welcomed MAP Active, a division of Mitra Adiperkasa Tbk (MAP), as their official retail partner in Indonesia.

The three-year-partnership will see MAP Active open 56 Arsenal shop-in-shop concessions and an official Arsenal e-commerce store where they will stock a wide range of official Arsenal products, offering fans in the region a wide variety of items from their club.

Simon Lilley, Arsenal’s Director of Retail, said: “We are delighted to welcome MAP Active as our official retail partner in Indonesia. The fan base has grown dramatically as a result of previous activity in the region including 2013’s pre-season friendly, and Indonesia is very important for Arsenal. The new shop-in-shop concessions will give our fans the chance to buy a wide range of official products locally and get closer to the club.”

Michael Capper, chief operating officer of MAP Active, said: “This is an exciting partnership for MAP Active. Premier League football has become the most popular sport in Indonesia and Arsenal has one of the biggest fan bases here. We are proud to be able to offer these supporters official Arsenal products to enable them to connect with the club they love.”

Arsenal will be coming back with its representatives to Indonesia this coming weekend from January 23 to 25, 2015 to once more greet their supporters in the region.
