Academy goalkeeper Matt Macey is joining League Two club Accrington Stanley on a one-month loan.
The 20-year-old stopper is a regular for the Arsenal Under-21s, having featured seven times for Steve Gatting’s side so far this term. He also made 19 appearances in 2013/14.
Macey has also been called up to the Gunners’ first-team squad twice this season. He was Emiliano Martinez’s understudy for Premier League victories away to West Bromwich Albion and at home to Southampton.
The Bath-born youngster heads to the Crown Ground to gain first-team experience.
Everyone at Arsenal Football Club wishes Matt the best of luck for his spell with Accrington.
