Jordan Nobbs agrees new long-term deal

Jordan Nobbs has committed her future to Arsenal Ladies after signing a new long-term contract.

The prolific midfielder, who joined Arsenal from Sunderland in 2010, has 20 goals in 46 league outings for the Gunners.

"I'm excited to have signed a new contract with Arsenal. There's a great feeling around the team heading into the 2015 season."

An England international, Nobbs has 16 caps and three goals for her country.

Arsenal Ladies manager Pedro Martinez Losa said: "Jordan has developed into one of the most talented young players in the country since joining Arsenal in 2010. She has fantastic technical ability and a great character too. She has a great future in the game and I believe she will be one of the best players in the women's game for a long time to come. We're delighted she's decided to commit her future to Arsenal."

Jordan added: "I'm excited to have signed a new contract with Arsenal. There's a great feeling around the team heading into the 2015 season. We feel we can come back to challenging on all fronts this year and I'm looking forward to being a part of that."
