Almeria 2-1 Real Betis
Wellington played 66 minutes of Almeria’s 2-1 victory over Real Betis in the Copa del Rey. Michel opened the scoring for the home side and Jonathan Zongo doubled the lead. Damien Perquiz pulled one back for Betis but Almeria held on for a 6-4 aggregate victory to progress into the competition’s last 16.

Barnet 2-6 Concord Rangers
Josh Vickers played the full 90 minutes of Concord Rangers’ 6-2 FA Trophy win at Barnet. Steve Cawley’s opener was cancelled out before the break by Bernard Mensah’s penalty. Sam Collins and Lewis Taaffe restored the lead before Mathew Stevens pulled another back from the spot, but Cawley, Mitchell Pinnock and Tony Stokes were on target to book Concord a place in the second round against Hemel Hempstead Town.

De Graafschap 2-4 Twente
Ryo Miyaichi was an unused substitute in Twente’s 4-2 KNVB Beker win at De Graafschap. Vincent Vermeij gave the hosts the lead but two goals apiece from Jesus Corona and Hakim Ziyech gave Twente a three-goal advantage. Andreas Bjelland scored a late own goal but it was not enough to stop the away side securing their place in the quarter-finals of the competition.
