Jonathan Douglas put the hosts in front before Rudy Gestede equalised on the stroke of half-time. Andre Gray then restored the lead before Jota Peleteiro secured the three points on the hour mark.

Isco put Madrid in front but Verza equalised five minutes later. Gareth Bale then restored the visitors’ lead before Cristiano Ronaldo scored a brace in the final 10 minutes to maintain Madrid’s four-point lead at the top of La Liga.

Matt Winchelow struck inside two minutes and Junior Morias gave Wood a two-goal cushion going into the break. Lee Angol then scored in the final minute to maintain his side’s six-point lead at the top of the Conference South.
