Lukas Podolski hopes to continue his fine goalscoring record in the Champions League when Arsenal take on Anderlecht on Tuesday night.
The Germany international has six goals in 11 appearances for the Gunners in the competition, including the last-gasp winner in Brussels two weeks ago.
It has left the 29-year-old hungry for more, and he hopes for a repeat performance against the Belgian champions at Emirates Stadium.
"I've done well in the competition in the last season or so, and they are games that I like. I'm happy to score but I want to score more goals"
“The Champions League is always a special cup,” Podolski told Arsenal Player. “I've done well in the competition in the last season or so, and they are games that I like. I'm happy to score but I want to score more goals.
“The games are under lights, in the evening, and something special. Of course I like to score in the Champions League, but I like to do that in the Premier League and in other competitions, too.
“It's always good to be back scoring goals, especially when it gives the team three points. The win [in Belgium] was important, as was winning away.
“If we can win this game, we could be in the next round, so [the last result] was important for us. It was a tough match against a good side but we got the three points in the end and that was the most important part of the night.”
