Loan Watch: Six Gunners in action

Every season a number of Arsenal players go out on loan to gain valuable first-team experience. With the 2014/15 campaign now underway, seven Gunners are currently away from the club.

The Hammers took the lead in the fifth minute when Nedum Onuoha turned the ball into his own net. Diafra Sakho secured all three points on the hour mark.

Jota Peleteira and Alex Pritchard gave the hosts an early lead. Simon Cox did pull one back but Jonathan Douglas was on target to restore the two-goal advantage and wrap up the three points.

Victor Rodriguez scored for Elche after six minutes before Verza equalised from the penalty spot. Jonathas restored Elche’s lead but was then sent off, and Tomer Hemed levelled in the last 10 minutes.

Robert Muhren opened the scoring for the hosts but Kyle Ebecilio and Hakim Ziyech struck back to give Twente the lead. Twente looked set to secure three points but Muamer Tankovic scored right at the end to share the points.

 

 

Austin Lipman Boreham WoodAustin LipmanSaturday, October 4Havant and Waterlooville 2-1 Boreham WoodAustin Lipman played the final 13 minutes of Boreham Wood’s 2-1 loss at Havant and Waterlooville. Lee Angol struck early but JJ Hooper equalised within 15 minutes and Ed Harris grabbed the winner two minutes before half-time, as Havant leapfrogged Boreham Wood to the top of Conference South.
