Ryo Miyaichi has joined Dutch side FC Twente on loan for the 2014/15 season.
The 21 year-old Japanese international, who has made six Arsenal first-team appearances, returned to the club last season having spent the 2012/13 campaign on loan at Wigan Athletic.
Ryo made his Champions League bow in the 2-0 play-off victory over Fenerbahce at Emirates Stadium last August and added to that with a first Premier League appearance in an Arsenal shirt soon after, playing the final 17 minutes of a 3-1 win against Stoke City.
A regular at under-21 level, the Japanese winger continued to progress and made his first start for the club in a Capital One Cup tie at West Bromwich Albion, where he completed the full 120 minutes. Ryo also started in the next round, a 2-0 defeat at home to Chelsea.
Since joining Arsenal in January 2011, Ryo, who usually operates on the left flank, has also enjoyed a loan spell at Bolton Wanderers, and has previously had experience of Dutch football during a spell with Feyenoord from January to May 2011.
Everybody at Arsenal wishes Ryo the best of luck during his loan with FC Twente.
