Per Mertesacker reached 100 international caps as Germany were held to a 2-2 draw against Ghana.
Mesut Ozil completed 90 minutes, as did Mertesacker, while Lukas Podolski was an unused substitute.
After a goalless first half, Joachim Low's side took the lead on 51 minutes when Mario Gotze nodded home Thomas Muller's cross.
But three minutes later, Ghana were back on terms. Harrison Afful's ring-wing cross was met by Andre Ayew and he made no mistake with a well-placed header.
The Black stars turned the game on its head just after the hour mark. Sulley Muntari found Asamoah Gyan with an inch-perfect pass and the former Sunderland man thundered past Manuel Neuer to give Ghana a shock lead.
Germany's equaliser came with 19 minutes remaining. Toni Kroos' corner was headed goalwards by Benedikt Howedes and substitute Miroslav Klose was on hand to tap home a record-equalling 15th World Cup goal.
The result leaves Germany on four points from their opening two games. They will seal qualification to the last 16 with a win against USA in their final game in Group G.
