Ramsey - I've felt great since my return

Arsenal v West Bromwich Albion programme

Aaron Ramsey feels he is getting back to his very best form after his return to the first team.

The Welshman came back into the side after a four-month lay-off at the beginning of last month and has produced impressive displays in the wins over West Ham, Hull City and Newcastle.

Ramsey's comeback has coincided with Arsenal's return to form in the Premier League and the midfielder is keen to add to his goal tally before the season is over.

"I've felt good since I came back," he told the official matchday programme. "It was really frustrating being out, missing so many games and it took longer getting back to fitness than I'd have liked. But it's great to be back.

"It was really pleasing for me [to score] up at Hull. Hopefully I can get one or two more before the end of the season."

Arsenal edged closer to securing a top-four finish after Monday's 3-0 victory over Newcastle and Ramsey says it was important to take advantage of Everton's defeat at Southampton two days before.

"Our target was to win every game and get fourth and we're closer to doing that now," he said. "With Everton dropping points against Southampton it was important for us to get the win and we managed to do that.

"Getting into the Champions League is really important - that's where us players want to be, testing ourselves against the best."
