Mauro Bandeira has signed his first professional contract with the club.
The 18-year-old central midfielder joined us in August 2016 from QPR, aged 13, and has gone on to become a key player across our youth teams.
Mauro played 26 games for the U-18s last season, scoring two goals and picking up six assists.
“There's no better feeling than signing this contract with my boyhood club," Mauro told Arsenal Media.
“The atmosphere at the training ground is a place where you come to get better, everyone here supports us, so this is somewhere I want to be and grow as a player and a person.“
Everyone at the club would like to congratulate Mauro on signing his first professional contract and we look forward to seeing his continued development.
