Ainsley Maitland-Niles had a birthday to remember.
Not only was he named Man of the Match for his Community Shield performance, he was always rewarded for his fine displays with a first England call-up.
And Maitland-Niles was asked about our win, the team spirit and his future after the match.
“It was a special moment,” he said. “The first time I've ever played on my birthday and playing at Wembley, fighting for another cup and another title for the club.
“We brought it home today and it's just a fantastic feeling that this group of boys have proved something last season and kept going into this season.
“I'm an Arsenal player until I'm told otherwise. My heart is in this club and while I'm here I'm going to give 100% to the club, so that's that.”
