Lucas scored in Deportivo la Coruna’s 3-2 loss at Malaga. The Spain international brought the scores level after Roberto Rosales had put the hosts into an early lead. Fabian Star struck back for the visitors shortly after the break, before goals from Chory Castro and Borja Baston scored to seal all three points for Malaga.
Takuma Asano played 45 minutes in Stuttgart’s 2-1 win at home against Borussia Dortmund. The Japanese international came on as a half-time substitute. Chadrac Akolo had put the hosts into the lead after just five minutes, only for Maximilian Phillip to equalise from the spot before the interval. Josip Brekalo struck the winner shortly after the break for the hosts.
Stephy Mavididi played the full 90 minutes in Preston North End’s 0-0 draw at home to Bolton, while Kelechi Nwakali was an unused substitute in VVV-Venlo’s 1-1 draw at Feyernoord. Nicolai Jorgensen opened the scoring for the hosts shortly after the break, only for Damian van Bruggen to equalise four minutes from full-time.
