Albert Sambi Lokonga has made huge strides in his career so far - but knows that moving to the Premier League will be his biggest test yet.
The 21-year-old may have to contend with switching countries at a young age, but he says he will do everything he can to fulfil his rich potential in England.
“It's a big move because I have been playing for Anderlecht for 10 years so it's going to be my first big move to another country,” he told Arsenal Media.
“It's a big step, but I feel confident because we have to be. In the football world, you have to feel confident about yourself, but I'm looking to play in this league and I can't wait to start.”
So what sort of midfielder can the Arsenal fans expect to see when Lokonga makes his first appearance in Arsenal colours - does he prefer box to box or a more attacking role?
“I can play both,” he said. “I can play as a six and I can play like a box to box, but people say that I’m better in the six position.”
