Seven of our players were in action for their respective loan clubs over the weekend - but how did they perform? Read on to find out:

William Saliba played the full match as Nice drew 1-1 with Lorient on the road this weekend.

Myziane Maolida opened the scoring for the visitors before Yoane Wissa equalised midway through the second half. Our 19-year-old defender has established himself as a key component of Adrian Ursea's side, starting six of their last seven games in all competitions.

Joe Willock played the full match as Newcastle drew 1-1 at home to Aston Villa on Friday night. It was the 21-year-old's sixth consecutive start for the Magpies in what has been an impressive loan spell on Tyneside.

Ciaran Clark seemed to have handed Dean Smith's men all three points when he put the ball into his own net with four minutes to play, but a late Jamaal Lascelles strike ensured the points were shared at St. James' Park.

Ainsley Maitland-Niles played the full match as West Brom lost 1-0 to Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park. Luka Milivojevic converted from the spot after 37 minutes to settle this one.

Dinos Mavropanos was in sparkling form for Stuttgart on Sunday as they beat Hoffenheim 2-0 at the Mercedes-Benz Arena. Our Greek defender helped his loan side to their fourth clean sheet of the season in the Bundesliga, moving them up to eighth in the table.

Sead Kolasinac played the entire game as Schalke were beaten 5-0 by Wolfsburg on Saturday. Former Gunner Shkodran Mustafi put the ball in his own net before goals from Wout Weghorst, Bote Baku, Josip Brekalo and Maximilian Philipp all but sealed Schalke's relegation from the Bundesliga. Kolasinac's loan side are now 12 points from safety with nine matches remaining this season.

Matt Smith played 38 minutes in Charlton's 1-1 draw against Shrewsbury on Saturday. Our 20-year-old midfielder replaced Darren Pratley on the hour mark to help the Addicks rescue a point at The Valley. Sean Goss opened the scoring for Shrewsbury before Conor Washington struck late for Charlton to level the scores.

Daniel Ballard played the full match as Blackpool ran out a goalless draw with Fleetwood at Bloomfield Road this weekend. The result leaves Blackpool 12th in League One after 31 games.
