Six of our players were in action over the weekend for their respective loan clubs.
Read on to find out how they performed:
Ainsley Maitland-Niles made his Roma debut just a day after joining them on loan, but could not prevent them losing 4-3 against Juventus.
Our on-loan midfielder's team raced into a 3-1 lead, only for the Old Lady to fight back in the second half, scoring three times in seven minutes to claim the three points.
Hector Bellerin played the full 90 minutes as 10-man Real Betis drew 1-1 on the road at Real Vallecano.
The visitors had Alex Moreno sent off in the 33rd minute, but took the lead when Sergio Canales scored. But Bellerin had to settle for a draw after Ivan Balliu Company equalised for the home side.
William Saliba played the entirety of Marseille's away fixture at Bordeaux, and helped his side to a clean sheet as they won courtesy of Cengiz Under's first-half goal.
Matteo Guendouzi also featured in the same game for Marseille, and the result means that they now sit third in Ligue 1 after 19 games.
Matt Smith played the entirety of Doncaster's home defeat to Fleetwood on Saturday, the only goal of the game coming in the second half through Ellis Harrison.
Miguel Azeez played just over an hour of Portsmouth's EFL Trophy second-round clash against Exeter City on Friday, helping his side to a 3-2 victory on the road.
