Lia Walti has been voted the women's Player of the Month for January after her standout performances last month.
Our Swiss international enjoyed an excellent month in the red and white as a serene presence at the base of midfield, picking up a Player of the Match award against Everton and getting on the scoresheet with a lovely curled effort against Watford.
Walti picked up 36% of the vote, with Caitlin Foord and Emily Fox finishing second and third respectively. She joins the ranks of Katie McCabe (October), Kyra Cooney-Cross (November) and Lotte Wubben-Moy (December), who have all won the monthly honour this season.
This is the first time that Walti has won our Player of the Month award.
