Lia Walti has signed a new long-term contract with the club.
The Switzerland international joined us from Bundesliga side Turbine Potsdam in July 2018 - and has since gone on to make a total of 32 appearances across all competitions.
Walti helped us to win the Barclays FA Women's Super League title in her debut season last term, and her standout performances didn't go unnoticed, as she was named in the PFA FA WSL Team of the Year for 2018/19.
"We are very pleased that Lia has signed a new long-term contract," said head coach, Joe Montemurro. "She’s a really intelligent player and she's made such a positive impact at this club, both on and off the pitch, so it was very important to us that she signed a new contract.”
