Joe Montemurro gave us the latest on his injured players ahead of Wednesday's Continental Tyres Cup quarter-final against Reading.
Our head coach was asked about Jen Beattie, Katrine Veje, Danielle Carter and Beth Mead. Here's what he had to say:

Apart from the ones that you know, no. Jen Beattie, we're just her a little bit more time, and Katrine Veje. We're in a good position from a squad scenario to give them the little bit more time they need. They're ready to go but we just felt we'd maybe give them another one or two games to get them 100 per cent right. We'll go from there.
on Dan Carter stepping up her recovery…
It’s been fantastic to see. She’s been amazing, and just having her around and having her involved with the group has been the hardest thing. We love having her around and she’s a bit of a cheeky one around the group! Hopefully we’ll get her back playing.
on Beth Mead's availability…
Beth’s ready to go and we’ve looked at how we can get the best out of her. We know we still need to be a little bit careful because it’s a little tender on the knock there, so it’s about making sure the timing is right. We also haven’t had a lot of training sessions with the turnaround and whatever, so she probably needs a couple more sessions to get right.
