David Luiz was back from injury as we overcame a difficult start to cruise to victory in the Europa League.
The Brazilian defender spoke shortly after our 4-1 win over Molde. Here's what he said:
on the result...
It was a great [result], especially because they started better than us. They scored first and got confidence but I think at the end of the day we understood the game very well, kept our shape and created a lot of opportunities. We could have scored more goals but it's good to see every single player enjoying doing what we had to do.
on being top of the group...
I think when you're a big club you have to think about winning every competition. This competition is no different, we want to do our best and our best is getting to the final and winning. We go step by step, it's always difficult to play against good teams like today, it was difficult. The teams are very good, good shape, good players and I think you have to be humble and take it step by step, but the ambition always has to be there.
on Joe Willock's performance...
It's always great [to see him perform well]. Not just Joe but everybody, it's always great because sometimes you don't have a lot of minutes to show your quality but now you need more than just 11 players, you need more than that because we have many competitions, many games. It's a difficult level and everybody has to be available with the right mentality to contribute positively to the team.
on returning after injury to the team…
It was great. You never like to be out so I owe it to myself to come back working and I felt very well. It's always great to be on the pitch because I really love the game.
on keeping the momentum going against Aston Villa...
They're a fantastic team. They have a good shape and great players so we have to have the right mentality. We understand it's going to be a tough game.
