'It was like Henry was up against youth players!'

For Mikel Arteta, there is only one clear answer to the toughest opponent he ever faced.

While at Everton, the Spaniard came up against Thierry Henry many times and said it was always a problematic experience.

"When I had to face him, it was at a moment that he was unstoppable," Arteta told Arsenal Player. "It seemed that he was playing against youth players, and at that moment I noticed a superiority on his part with respect to everyone that I have never felt."

So which former greats, apart from Henry, would our head coach love to have in his squad right now?

"Someone like Patrick would be great, some leaders that we have at the back, we've had a lot of great players who have had great success with this football club," he said.

"A player that I admired a lot when I was young was Michael Laudrup. I used to love him and the way that he played."
