Internationals: Who’s playing and when?

Eleven of our players have been called up for international duty this month. Scroll down to find out when they are in action.

Dominique Bloodworth, Vivianne Miedema, Danielle van de Donk and Sari van Veenendaal have been named in Netherlands’ squad for their 2019 World Cup qualification play-off against Denmark. The Leeuwinnen will host Denmark in Breda on Friday, October 5 before the second leg in Viborg on Tuesday, October 9, hoping to secure their place at next summer’s finals.

Lia Walti’s Switzerland will also be fighting for their spot in France when they take on Belgium this week. The first leg will be played Heverlee on Friday, October 5 before the Swiss host Belgium in Biel/Bienne.

 

Elsewhere in Europe, Pauline Peyraud-Magnin has been called up for France’s friendlies against Australia on Friday, October 5 and Cameroon on Tuesday, October 9.

 

Beth Mead, Jordan Nobbs and Leah Williamson have all retained their places in Phil Neville’s squad for England’s international friendlies against Brazil on Saturday, October 6 and Australia on Tuesday, October 9.

 

And finally, Katie McCabe and Louise Quinn have been named in Colin Bell’s squad for the Republic of Ireland’s friendly against Poland on Tuesday, October 9.
