Inside this weekend's Emirates Cup programme

Emirates Cup programme cover

Football finally returns to Emirates Stadium on Saturday afternoon when Sevilla come to town, and to make the occasion the souvenir Emirates Cup programme is packed full of exciting features and competitions.

The programme – like the whole day – pays tribute to Jose Antonio Reyes extensively, including a piece from fellow Invincible, Gilberto, while Mikel Arteta shares his experiences of growing up in Spanish representative teams with our former striker.

The boss also gives us exclusive comments on pre-season and the challenge posed by the visitors, while Granit Xhaka discusses the importance of this summer, recalls the personal challenges of last season and gives his assessment of the talented new players who’ve recently arrived at the club.

Speaking of which, Fabio Vieira talks us through his hopes for the move to north London and what we can expect from him on the pitch, and you’ll find plenty on all five of our latest recruits dotted throughout the pages.

Arsenal v Sevilla programme

We also catch up with Arsenal Women and the Academy, with former Emirates Cup star Jack Wilshere now back on the scene. And speaking of the Academy, we chat to Sevilla central defender Kemar Rekik about life in Spain and his little brother Omar, who starred for our under-23s last season.

And if you’re feeling lucky this weekend, we’ve got not one, not two, not three… but FOUR competitions for you to enter. We have signed shirts from both Arsenal and Sevilla, official World Cup balls – the adidas Al Rihla, being used at the Emirates Cup too – Arsenal Club Coins and a stunning model of Emirates Stadium up for grabs.

So for some perfect pre-season preparation of your own, pick up a programme from sellers around the stadium and in the club shops, or order online.
