Arsenal Football Development Lead coach and Programme Manager, Simon McManus, and Arsenal’s Head of Pre Academy at Hale end, Kieron Lewis, recently delivered a coaching webinar for adidas and their US-based Generation adidas initiative.
The webinar provided an insight into Arsenal’s coaching ethos and methodology and explored ways in which the club partner could implement these to support their own Generation adidas clubs in North America.
It also showcased the valuable content and educational offerings that the Arsenal Football Development team can deliver digitally in the short term, as we continue to adapt to provide value for our club partners during the current pandemic.
Over 250 people registered for the event, which was hosted on the Coach FX platform. This allowed our coaches to showcase drills virtually on one of the world’s most advanced programme design software platforms on the football market.
Having completed a first successful webinar, plans are now in place for Generation adidas and Arsenal Football Development to work together on future webinars, starting with a second installment in early November.
