Euro 2020: Saka’s England into semi-finals

Bukayo Saka's England sealed their place in the Euro 2020 semi-finals with a 4-0 victory over Ukraine in Rome on Saturday evening.

Our teenage forward was not in the matchday squad after picking up a knock ahead of the game, with Jason Sancho replacing him on the right flank.

England got off to a flier when Harry Kane latched on to Raheem Sterling’s incisive through ball and poked the ball in at the near post in the third minute.

Gareth Southgate's side doubled their advantage at the start of the second half when Harry Maguire headed in a free kick.

Kane added his second of the game, and England's third, shortly afterwards, before Jordan Henderson headed in his first international goal.

Saka and England will next be in action when they face Denmark at Wembley in the semi-finals on Wednesday night.
