Emirates Stadium sold-out for Man Utd clash in WSL

Emirates Stadium is sold out for the very first time for a WSL fixture

For the first time in our history, we have officially sold out Emirates Stadium for a Barclays Women’s Super League fixture.

Over 60,000 tickets and all hospitality packages for this Saturday's clash against Manchester United have now been sold. This is the second time Emirates Stadium has sold out for a women’s match, following our UEFA Women's Champions League semi-final against VfL Wolfsburg in May 2023.

Saturday's sell-out comes after a series of high attendances in N5 over the past two seasons, eclipsing the WSL record of 59,042 set against Chelsea on December 10 earlier this season.

Vinai Venkatesham, Arsenal Chief Executive, said: “We are grateful for the incredible support we’ve had all season. Our supporters’ unwavering commitment and following, coupled with the performance of our team and the hard work of everyone behind the scenes at our club, has made this moment possible.

“The next step is delivering this on a consistent basis – not just at Emirates Stadium but across the league. We must continue to nurture this audience and deliver sustainable growth for the whole women’s game.”

Our Gunners will play two further WSL games at Emirates Stadium this season. First, we host Tottenham Hotspur in the north London derby on March 3 [tickets] before welcoming Leicester City in a recently-announced clash on April 21* [tickets].

*Please note that fixture dates are subject to change based on broadcast selections.
