Folarin Balogun and Emile Smith Rowe have been nominated for August’s Premier League 2 Player of the Month award.
Balogun kickstarted the new campaign with a hat-trick on the opening day of the season, before assisting in our 2-1 win over Brighton and scoring once more in a 2-2 draw with Derby County.
Smith Rowe has also starred for Steve Bould’s side, starting all four of our opening PL2 fixtures and scoring a stunner in our 2-1 win over Brighton at Emirates Stadium.

The winner, chosen by the Premier League Football Development panel, will be announced on Friday, September 13.
