Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang says everyone in the first-team squad has to fight to turn their form around.
A last-gasp Alex Lacazette goal rescued a point for us at home to Southampton on Saturday, and afterwards our captain spoke to the media.
This is what he said:
on leaving the pitch to boos...
I don't know [if the criticism is fair at the moment], but the team is disappointed like the fans are as well. When we are playing, we are the first to be disappointed when it doesn't work. We will try to keep fighting. I think we have the quality to come back and we have to fight.
on whether Southampton should have won...
We knew that it wasn't going to be easy because we know that when they play away, they feel comfortable on the ball and they are strong. We expected them to play like this. We are really disappointed.
on why it's not clicking...
I don't know. Sincerely, I don't know. I think everybody has to try to ask themselves that, and what they can change, what they can give more of. Everybody has to do this, me first. I will try to work hard and to get back to winning ways.
on when it is going to change...
Hopefully as soon as possible. We have a game on Thursday and we will start from this game to try to turn things around. In this case, it's really not easy for everybody but we are men and we have to carry on to try to sort it out. We are a group and we can find a solution internally. That's what we are going to do.
on his assessment of the game...
Everybody is disappointed today, the fans and the players. It didn't work today. It's not a good result for us. Obviously we're playing at home and we have to win games at home. We have to keep fighting and keep trying to sort it out.
on five games without a win in the Premier League...
I don't know exactly [what's gong wrong]. The only thing I can say is that we as a team, as players, will try to continue our work. We have to find a solution together. I think we have to stay strong. We are men and we have to carry on our hard work.
on whether we were lucky to get a point...
I don't know if we are lucky or not. It's a point but it's not enough for us.
