On Saturday evening, a video of Aaron Ramsdale gifting his shirt to a young fan during the post-match celebrations went viral on social media.
Our goalkeeper was just one of a number of our players to do the same after out victory at Burnley, and for Mikel Arteta, it shows the bond that is building between his team and our supporters.
"I felt it," he told Arsenal Media. "I felt there was some connection building and I think they realise what they have done, and the players have to show their appreciation and gratitude like that did.
"That only brings more cohesion, more connection and more relationships, closer relationships and that will strengthen the team for sure."
Next up we host AFC Wimbledon at Emirates Stadium in the Carabao Cup third round and have already sold more than 45,000 tickets for the match, which our manager believes underlines the incredible support the team counts on.
"I am really happy to hear that [we have sold so many tickets] because the boys are really looking forward to playing at the Emirates again," he said.
"Winning that game is the only priority right now and then we can think about Spurs and how special that is as well."
