Massive congratulations to Mikel Arteta and his staff, after he was named the Premier League's Manager of the Month for August!
We won all five of our August fixtures, scoring 13 goals and conceding only four in the process. Our manager led us to victory against Crystal Palace, Leicester City, Bournemouth, Fulham, and Aston Villa, finishing the month top of the table.
Mikel is our second manager to win his opening five games of a Premier League season. Arsene Wenger achieved this record in two successive seasons during our Invincibles era of 2003/04.
This is the third Manager of the Month award for the boss, who won it two times last season in September and March. This time around, he beat Antonio Conte, Pep Guardiola, Graham Potter and Marco Silva.
