Arsenal to play Chelsea in Dublin this August

Aviva Stadium

We will play a pre-season friendly against Chelsea in Dublin this summer.

As part of the International Champions Cup, we will face our London rivals at the 51,700 capacity Aviva Stadium, on Wednesday, August 1, with kick-off at 8.05pm (UK time).

Arsenal Legend Ray Parlour was in Dublin on Wednesday June 13, to officially announce the match. Ray was joined by ex-Chelsea player Tore Andre Flo at the Aviva Stadium to take part in a media conference and photo opportunities to celebrate the announcement.

Further details and ticket information regarding the game can be found here

We can also confirm that we will be playing a pre-season friendly in Stockholm on Saturday, August 4. Opposition and full details of this match will be released very soon.

These two matches are in addition to the two international matches already announced in our pre-season schedule. As part of the International Champions Cup, we will play Atletico Madrid on Thursday, July 26 and Paris Saint-Germain on Saturday, July 28, with both games to be played at the 55,000 capacity National Stadium at the Singapore Sports Hub. The matches in Singapore will be our only fixtures outside Europe this summer.

Additionally, we again remind all supporters that due to close season developments taking place at Emirates Stadium, we will not be staging an Emirates Cup this pre-season.
