Alexis was back in Confederations Cup action on Wednesday night as Chile faced Portugal at the semi-final stage.
Scroll down to find out how he performed:
Alexis played 120 minutes of the 0-0 semi-final draw between Chile and Portugal, before scoring from the spot as la Roja won on penalties. Arturo Vidal and Charles Aranguiz scored Chile’s opening two spot kicks, with Ricardo Quaresma and Joao Moutinho failing to convert for Portugal. Alexis then stepped up and found the net from 12 yards, meaning the miss that followed from Nani sent Chile into the final.
The final will be played in St. Petersburg on Sunday, July 2. Chile could face either Germany or Mexico.
