From the streets to the stadium

adidas City Runs has announced its first London race since the COVID-19 pandemic, which will see runners finish up inside Emirates Stadium.

Entries are now open for adidas City Runs – Islington 1 Hour, which will take place at Emirates Stadium on October 10.

Runners also have the chance to raise money on behalf of The Arsenal Foundation to support their work inspiring and supporting young people in north London and across the globe.

Delivered in partnership with adidas and Islington Council, the one-hour event will see thousands of runners race the clock and run as far as they can in 60 minutes on a one-mile looped course around Emirates Stadium. Once the one-hour buzzer sounds, runners will head inside to collect their hard-earned medal and enjoy post-race refreshments.

Delivered in-line with COVID-19 major event guidelines, Islington 1 Hour will provide a safe and enjoyable experience for loyal adidas City Runners, Islington residents, Arsenal fans and running enthusiasts to come together and re-discover the joy of live running events!

Entry costs just £35 (+6% booking fee). All under-21s can enter for free (minimum age 16+) and there will also be a Community Mile allowing runners aged four and older to complete a loop of the one-mile closed road route for free.

With limited places available, each participant will receive an adidas tech t-shirt, race day photo album, premium medal, and a stadium finish!
