Donyell Malen says his winning mentality is what drives him to be a success.

The striker has impressed in his debut season with the club, and has played in a variety of attacking positions for the under-21s.

"I want to win every match. I have made a free role for myself when I’m forward so I can play left wing or as a striker. For me it is all about where I can score goals"

Malen can play on both the wing or as a central striker and recently made an instant impact off the bench to score against Coventry in the fifth round of the FA Youth Cup.

The 17-year-old is keen to impress against Wolves on Monday night and says his innate hunger constantly pushes him to improve.

“I want to play every match, train every day and do the best that I can,” he told Arsenal.com. “I want to develop, I’m still young. I want to get everything out by myself.

“I know that I’m a good player and I can do well if I focus. I just want to win everything I can at the club and do the best that I can. I think football is about winning. You can have possession and you can do whatever you want with the ball but if you don’t win, it doesn’t matter.
