Eddie Nketiah scored a dramatic late equaliser for Arsenal Under-18s in their 3-3 draw against Aston Villa at London Colney on Saturday.

Kelsey Mooney and Andre Green put the visitors two up before Josh Da Silva pulled a goal back before the break.

Reiss Nelson equalised but Jake Humphries then converted a penalty to restore Aston Villa’s lead. But in added time, substitute Nketiah struck to earn Arsenal a point.

Frans de Kat made five changes to the side that lost at Southampton 4-1.

Donyell Malen, Ismael Bennacer and Nelson all started after featuring in the under-19s side that beat Bayern Munich 2-0 in the Uefa Youth League.

Mooney opened the scoring in the 30th minute with a composed header past the outstretched Ryan Huddart.

Green doubled the visitors' advantage four minutes later when he headed a lofted cross into the bottom corner.

Da Silva pulled one back when his curled effort inside the box took a deflection and wrong footed Emmanuel Idem before the break.

Aaron Eyoma had a wonderful opportunity to equalise after the interval but fired over the bar from from a few yards out.

Nelson curled an effort into the bottom corner to level the scores in the 50th minute after Eyoma had pulled the ball back.

Humphries restored the visitors lead with a composed penalty after Tolaji Bola was adjudged to have pulled down Moustafa Zeidan.

Substitute Nketiah scored a dramatic equaliser after Nelson had broke down the left flank and fed him the ball in the box.
