Arsenal Under-18s opened their pre-season campaign with a 1-0 win over Lincoln City on Tuesday.
Midfielder Ben Sheaf scored the only goal of the game on 39 minutes.
The friendly was played in memory of Lincolnshire teenager Matty Ellis, who was tragically killed in a car accident in April.
