Arsenal Under-18s were beaten for the fourth league game in a row, going down to Reading at London Colney.
Liam Kelly gave the visitors the lead early on but Austin Lipman restored parity five minutes later.
Kelly quickly restored Reading’s lead before completing his hat-trick on the stroke of half time.
De’Jaune Taylor-Crossdale extended the visitors’ advantage just after the break, but Tarum Dawkins and Lipman struck within the space of two minutes to bring Arsenal back into the game.
The momentum looked to be with the young Gunners, but Dominic Hyam struck with 15 minutes to play to ensure an away win.
