Arsenal Under-18s succumbed to their second defeat of the week as Charlton's youth walked away from London Colney with all three points.

Steve Bould's youngsters had suffered FA Youth Cup heartbreak on Wednesday night with an extra-time defeat to Derby, but could not make ammends this time around as their south-London rivals claimed victory.

Charlton took the lead inside just two minutes when Bradley Jordan found the net, before promising German youth international Serge Gnabry levelled the scores on 15 minutes.

But the visitors found daylight with a brace from Callum Harriott, the winger scoring just five minutes after Arsenal's reply before adding a second from the penalty spot shortly after the interval.

Substitute Kyle Ebecilio handed Bould's young Gunners a lifeline with 20 minutes remaining but it wasn't enough to salavage a point against a resilient Addicks outfit.
