Arsenal Under-18s kicked off their Premier Academy League campaign with a 2-1 defeat against Barnsley on Thursday.
In their first game of season, Steve Bould’s side took a tenth-minute lead through Brad Kilburn's own goal only for Danny Rose to equalise 11 minutes later.
The game looked to be heading for a draw until Tom Williams scored the winner in the 83rd minute to earn Barnsley three points.
