Arsenal Under-18s consolidated their lead at the top of Premier Academy League Group A with a comprehensive 4-0 win over Portsmouth on Saturday.
Luke Freeman poured more misery on the bottom-placed side with a goal after only three minutes. Roarie Deacon added another equally early in the second half.
In the final stages, Steve Bould’s boys cruised home. Benik Afobe killed off any chance of a comeback in the 74th minute then Deacon got his second just before the whistle.
Arsenal now lead Group A with 29 points from 14 games, five points ahead of Crystal Palace in second.
