Arsenal came back from two goals down to snatch a last-gasp 3-2 win at London rivals Chelsea on Sunday and maintain their 100 per cent start to the Premier League campaign.

Former Gunners Lianne Sanderson and Leanne Champ gave the champions a rude awakening with a goal apiece in the first eight minutes.

But Tony Gervaise's side emerged with renewed vigour after the break and outclassed Chelsea in the second half.

Substitute Jennifer Beattie started the fightback in the 49th minute with a header from Jayne Ludlow's cross and Helen Lander levelled the scores with a far-post finish 20 minutes from time.

A draw looked on the cards but Beattie, who set up Lander's equaliser, had the final word. She nodded her second of the match and Arsenal's third in the last minute to seal a stunning victory.

The defending champions moved up to fourth with the win, but have six games in hand over leaders Sunderland.
