Arsenal Under-18s kept their title challenge on course with an impressive win away at Crystal Palace on Saturday morning.
Steve Bould’s young charges dominated proceedings in the first half and deservedly raced into a 2-0 lead thanks to goals from Jay Thomas and Rhys Murphy.
Quite against the run of play, though, the hosts halved the deficit shortly before the interval and worse followed when they leveled things up within moments of the restart.
But Bould has instilled bags of character in his players and with little over 10 minutes remaining Emmanuel Frimpong stepped up to confidently drill home the winner.
