After the heady heights of midweek, Steve Bould's young side came back to down to earth with defeat at home to Norwich City.
The young Gunners had fallen behind early at Villa Park on Wednesday, and did the same again here; the Canaries striking inside five minutes. The visitors doubled their lead shortly after the interval and it proved to be the winner as Sanchez Watt hit back two minutes from time. Unfortunately it was mere consolation.
