Arsenal Ladies followed up last weekend's thrashing of
Fulham with another comprehensive victory - this time at Bristol
Academy.

The defending champions dominated the game from the first
whistle, enjoying the lion's share of possession and dictating
the tempo with their fluent passing game.

Jayne Ludlow opened the scoring, slotting home after Katie
Chapman had nodded the Welsh midfielder's cross back towards
her. Lianne Sanderson doubled Arsenal's lead, sliding the ball
past the Bristol keeper after being played through on goal.

Ludlow and Kelly Smith struck before half time to put the result
beyond doubt but Arsenal did not have things all their own way in
the second half as Bristol emerged from the dressing room to put up
a strong fight.

There were two further goals though, Scotland captain Julie
Fleeting grabbing Arsenal's fifth before England international
Sanderson rounded off another impressive victory.

Arsenal Ladies will now travel to Russia for the group stages of
the UEFA Women's Cup from September 11 to 17.
