Lianne Sanderson, who grabbed a brace in the midweek rubber with
the Blues, bought her season's tally to 40 with a tidy finish
15 minutes in. Fellow England international Kelly Smith then rifled
home a stunning long-range effort, before former Birmingham player
Karen Carney completed the scoring before the interval.
With the match won, the Gunners duly eased off and played out
the second half in a confident, classy manner.
