Arsenal Under-18s came within three minutes of their first
defeat of the season but rallied to earn a late draw at Chelsea on
Saturday.
Steve Bould's youngsters looked in danger of losing their
23-game unbeaten run when Kieran Gibbs struck a stunning late
leveller.
The hosts had taken the lead on 15 minutes through Morten
Nielsen but the young Gunners hit back just five minutes later
through striker Rhys Murphy.
On 64 minutes, Football Icon winner Sam Hurrell put Chelsea back
in front with his first academy goal but midfielder Gibbs found the
top corner to round off a quick Arsenal breakaway and earn his side
a share of the spoils.
