Loan Watch: Torreira scores winner

Thirteen of our players have been in action for their respective loan clubs over the past week.

Lucas Torreira played the full match and scored the winner as Fiorentina beat Bologna 1-0. Our midfielder bundled the ball home in the 70th minute after a goalmouth scramble to register his third goal of the season. The win leaves the Italian side eighth in Serie A after 28 matches.

William Saliba played the entirety of Marseille's 4-1 win over Stade Brestois. Matteo Guendouzi also featured in the victory, playing 83 minutes, and helping the French side up to second in Ligue 1 after 28 matches.

Pablo Mari played 90 minutes as Udinese drew 1-1 with Roma. The Italian side looked certain to take all three points, before a 94th-minute penalty from Lorenzo Pellegrini rescued a point for Jose Mourinho's men. The point leaves Udinese 14th in Serie A after 27 matches.

Folarin Balogun played the full match as Middlesbrough drew 0-0 with Millwall. Chris Wilder's side now sit eighth in the Championship after 36 matches, just one point shy of the play-off spots.

Daniel Ballard also played the entirety of the stalemate at the Den, helping Millwall keep a clean sheet against Middlesbrough. The draw extends the Championship side's unbeaten run to seven matches and leaves them 11th in the table after 36 matches played.

Dinos Mavropanos played 59 minutes as Stuttgart drew 1-1 with Union Berlin. The point lifts the German side up to 16th in the Bundesliga, out of the relegation zone after 26 matches.

Reiss Nelson played 55 minutes of Feyenoord’s 2-1 victory over PEC Zwolle. The Dutch side stay third in the Eredivisie, eight points behind the leaders, Ajax, after 26 matches played.

Brooke Norton-Cuffy was sent off in the 66th minute as Lincoln City beat AFC Wimbledon 2-0. The Imps remain 16th in League One after their 36th match of the season.

Nikolaj Moller played 78 minutes and provided an assist as FC Den Bosch beat FMVV Maastricht 3-1. The win leaves the Dutch side 13th in Eerste Divisie after 29 matches.

Alex Runarsson played the entirety of OH Leuven's 4-1 defeat to Union SG.

Matt Smith played 63 minutes of Doncaster Rovers' 1-0 defeat to Gillingham.

Jordan McEneff played the entirety of Shelbourne's 1-1 draw with Dundalk.
