It's time to reveal the Gunners' Greatest 50 Goals - as voted for by Arsenal's fans.
In August 2002, Arsenal faced a tricky trip to Upton Park for their first away trip of the season as reigning Premier League champions.
And with less than an hour gone, the Gunners, unbeaten in 23 games, were staring an unlikely defeat straight in the face thanks to goals from Joe Cole and Fredi Kanoute either side of the interval.
But cometh the hour, cometh the man.
Patrick Vieira slid a low pass into Thierry Henry about 40 yards out, with his back to goal. His first touch left Christian Dailly for dead, his second on the knee set the ball just right and the third was truly emphatic as he sent a sizzling half-volley past David James from 20 yards.
The goal encapsulated two of the mercurial Frenchman’s deadliest assets. The delicate cleverness to shrug off the defender alongside the ferocious power in the finish. It was pure Henry.
The goal proved crucial too as Sylvain Wiltord notched Arsenal’s equaliser two minutes from time.
