Yossi joined Arsenal on loan from Premier League rivals Chelsea in August 2011 and spent the whole of the season at Emirates Stadium.
The Israel captain made the move on transfer deadline day after struggling to hold down a regular first-team place at Stamford Bridge.
Yossi endeared himself to Arsenal fans after playing a key role in ensuring the Gunners finished third and secured automatic qualification for the Champions League.
Opportunities initially proved hard to come by and it was not until the latter months of the campaign that he started to make a major impact at the Club.
Wenger often selected Yossi in the biggest games of the season and it was his display on the left wing in the 5-2 win against Tottenham which earned him a more regular place.
Soon he became an integral member of the first team and claimed goals against Wolves, Norwich and West Brom before the end of the season.
Yossi previously had spells in the top flight with Liverpool and West Ham and spent time in La Liga with Racing Santander. He rejoined the Hammers on loan for the 2012/13 season.
