Joseph Cooper joined Arsenal from Wolverhampton Wanderers in October 1893.
The centre forward signed league forms one month later after making his debut against Mr Roston Bourkes XI.
Cooper played six times in Arsenal's first ever league season, adding two more FA Cup appearances and scoring twice.
